While you’re sitting there, watering down your thoughts, opinions… basically hiding who you really are, there are other people who do your job (who don’t even have an OUNCE of your skills, talent or experience by the way 😉) who are saying what they wanna say, and getting PAID to do it.
I'm done with watered down, bland content and here's why you should be too:
Firstly, 99.999% of human beings don't even know you exist.
And a lot of the ones who do really couldn't care less what you think, do or say. So why are you so worried about judgement? Scared someone might unfollow you? Trust me, it's LIBERATING!
Secondly, EVERY marketing expert tells you "you're supposed to repel the wrong people" - this is not new information, but it’s still valid today.
99% of haters (and even those who are just indifferent) will scroll past anyway, but that 1% that stops to criticise?
That's validation that you're on the right track. ✅
Your marketing, unlike a vast majority of marketing in this space, is actually doing something. It’s making people stop and read and think.
And if you aren't making some people a little uncomfortable, you're not making even a small % of the impact you COULD be making.
Thirdly, I’ve watched too many brilliant minds, probably just like yours, not making the impact they were put here on this earth to make, all because they're worried about saying what they REALLY want to say.
